¡Saludos! I can't believe we're in September already. Lots of exciting things are happening here in the world of Spanish class. My 7th graders have mastered simple classroom commands and phrases such as "ayuda, por favor" and "levanten las manos," and are now moving on to cognates, the alphabet, and high-frequency verbs such as "soy," "es," and "tiene." My 8th graders are continuing their review from last year with the focus being on how we function in Spanish in the classroom - talking about the objects they use and the activities they do in Spanish. We've also reviewed fundamentals such as articles, number agreement, and simple conversation terms.
A couple new things are happening here on my website as well. Most important to note is that I have added a link to my running agenda to both my 1A and 1B Resource pages, so that students who miss class can still keep up with the activities of the day. You will still need to see me in person to get some materials, but you can watch any videos from class and take note of any activities you need to catch up on.
Please also make sure that you are staying on top of studying daily. Even just a few minutes a day of review can help keep your Spanish in tip-top shape!
